TÜRKÇE

Ellerimin kesikleri vardı kesiklerin yaraları
İçinden b ile başlayan benlikler fırlayan
Masal tanelerinin arılığına sığınan peri kızları,
Asla o peri kızlarından olamadı kimdi ise bilinmez
Ayın çengeline asılı hayaller
Ütülenmez ama kırışmaz da
Kimdi ise bilinmez peri kızınaydı.

Müptelaydık
Hayatın şavkına
İri çiçekleri yutmuş bayındır yollar,
Kafamdan aşağı sarkan acayip mavilik var
Adı konulmaz, acısı onulmaz bir
Sağaltırım dersem yalan olurdu biliyordum
Adı konulmamış bir iptila var.

Yılanın ağusunu tüküremediysen
Çıkarmaya çalışırken
Yuttun işte ve fırıldak olduysa göğ
Ben benim peşimde dolanan bana
Benzemeyen bir şeysem
Ellerimin kesik yaraları ne işe yarar?

Sönse şu mum.

Boyum da zaten
Çok kısaydı hayat için.

Eridim.

ENGLISH

Translated with the author’s approval by Ege Dündar

My hands had cuts, the cuts had their wounds
That had egos starting with e bursting out
Pieces of fable tales had fairy girls hiding in their purity
She never got to be one of those fairy girls, who she was is unknown
Dreams hooked on the moon’s grappling hooks
Never ironed neither wrinkled
Tailored for the anonymous fairy girl.

We were enamored
For life’s sunlight
The prosperous roads that have swallowed stout flowers,
There is a strange blueness dangling down from the top of my head
Shant be named, its pain irreparable
If I said I can ameliorate, I knew that would be a lie
There is a mania, unnamed

If you failed to spit out the snake’s poison
As you tried to suck it out
You swallowed it already and if then the sky became a whirligig
And if I am not alike to the me chasing myself around

What good are the cuts in my hands?

I wish that candle would wane.

My height anyhow,
Was too short for life.

I melted.
